Benefit Cosmetics At Christmas

So for Christmas I was given this cute little radiant skin care set from Benefit. So i thought i'd give each product a little review, All the opinions within this post are completely my own!

So starting with 'The Moisture Prep Toning Lotion' which is a smoothing lotion to prep your face for moisturiser. You place the lotion on a cotton pad and rub it all over your face in the morning. This hydrates the skin, creating a soft surface ready to absorb your morning moisturiser. I use all these products in the morning and i specially love the toning lotion because it removes any make up i missed last night and refreshes my face ready for a cold winters day.

Next is the 'Triple Performing Facial Emulsion', this hydrates, protects and comforts the skin. Someone once told me that 'you may not know you're dehydrated, but your skin does'. From now on i'm going to listen to that because as long as my skin is hydrated and blemsh free i know i'm going to have a good day, even if my hair won't do what it's told or i've worn the same jumper for a week. Good skin is important, and having a daily skincare routine will make sure you never have unexpected outbreaks or dryness.

The 'It's Potent Eye Cream' is a brightening eye cream to fade dark circles. For anyone that keeps up with me or knows me, i complain about my dark circles all the time this is because i always find myself going to bed at late hours and having to wake up early. Plus, i've found since being away from school for the holidays i've been drinking less water, which is also very bad for your skin, specially eyes. However, since using this eye cream i have seen visible results from day one. My under eyes are certainly brighter and the dark rings are defo less visible. Result!

I'm a big fan of moisturisers. I have at least 5 i use, however the Benefit one is the one i've been using recently and my skin has become softer and more radiant. Ths hydra- concentrated facial cream absorbs into the skin leaving it hydrated. The only thing i don't like about this moisturiser is the fact in has mango butter inside, because i find if there is fragrance in skincare my skin can flare up and react badly, but at the moment the cream is fine and i'm really liking how smooth my face feels.

The 'Foamingly Clean Facial Wash' is meant to be used before any of these products as it's a daily facial wash. However i have only been using it on the occasions where my skin feels dry and i have blemishes (around my nose area for example) as the foam cleans the skin of impurities and removes yesterdays make-up. For this you splash your face with water (don't do this literally because you'll just end up with a wet floor and drenched clothes) and apply small amounts of cleanser to the skin. After this you just simply wash it off. The cleanser just leaves your face feeling clean and refreshed. A definite buy if you care about your skin.

Lastly, the 'Refined Finish Facial Polish', this cleanser brightens your faces complexion, purifies the skin and help minimize the appearance of pores. I haven't actually used this yet but it acts like the 'Foamingly Clean Facial Wash' in the way you have to wash it off your face. But i shall use it soon because around my nose i've been seeing pores and blemishes so this might help.
So yes, thats me finished.

Why I Haven't Posted In A While

I have been awful this winter and done no blogs, vlogs or videos for a month. Well actually that's a lie I have done videos I've just been far too lazy to edit them. However if you keep up with my Twitter and Instagram you'll see Ive been trying to keep you posted.
Right so Christmas. Unfortunately I have been ill all over The festive time and Ive hated every bit of being unwell. I didn't eat my usual amount of raspy potatoes or even Yorkshires for that matter (my favourite part of Christmas), plus my auntie specially hand made the Yorkshire puddings just for me, which made me feel worse when I couldn't eat any.
Anyway, I am better now and hope to be back to you guys soon with my Christmas videos.
(I better hurry up though, it's soon going to be January, and my Birthday :))
I hope you guys had a fab ChristmasLet me know what you got!?
I will see you soon

Winter Favourites

So as it's so close to Christmas I thought I'd share with you my winter faves.

Beginning with the boots in the left top hand corner. These ankle boots are from H&M and are literally the most comfiest boots i have ever brought. They are lined with fur and are a lightish brown colour... Perfect for Winter. They go with everything: including dresses, skirts, jeans, etc. I am in awe over them. Plus for £15.99 you can't go wrong. I certainly recommend checking out H&M boots this season!

The photo next to my boots is my beauty and perfume favourites which includes: Marc Jacobs DOT perfume, Bobbi Brown's Vixen Red Lipstick (which i didn't mention in the video) and Lancome Miracle de Teint foundation.
Dot has always been one of my fave perfumes, the smell is so sweet and suits a younger person because the smell is quite light weight. My Bobbi Brown lipstick is a limited edition, i managed to pick up the last one in Debenams, the colour is a deep redish colour. What i like so much about it is the fact that it smells like licorice. Bobbi Brown is an expensive brand, however there are loads of other brands you can try such as Rimmel London Kate Moss Collection, Maybelline, etc, they will defo have colours that are sort of the same. The Lancome Foundation is quite new to me, it's in the shade 005 which is rather light but it suits my skin colour so well i don't need to blend it into my neck or anything. I love it! It's perfect for the Winter because as my skin colour get's pale the foundation will always help cover my spots but never give me awkward foundation lines. BONUS!
Next is the nail polish in the bottom right corner. It is the colour Kensington High Street from Nails Inc London. It's a deep purply red colour. I never usually wear nail polish as i have horrible short nails, but this Winter i thought i'd try deep colours out to go with my outfits.

I've recently got really into capes this Winter, as they are fashionable, lightweight and perfect for the weather at the moment. My most recent buy is a brown one from Accessories in Brighton. The fur around the collar is so in right now and the pattern at the bottom is Christmassy and perfect for everyday use.  I have so many capes from over the years but this one at the moment is my favourite

Lastly, my new favourite cafe place is EAT in Brighton. The food there is SOO good. I really like the Hoison Duck Wrap, Brownies and Cloudy Lemonade Drink. Everything is freshly prepared and the employers are really friendly and are generally lovely people. I usually go in there with my mum and she has a coffee and i'll have my wrap and it's such a lovely environment. Please go check EAT out you won't regret it.

Right guys, so theres some of my Wintery Favourites there are more in my new video which you should go check out. just click the link below
If you have anything you'd like to ask me please go to my contact tag at the top and find out how to get intouch. I love hearing from you guys so don't be shy

40 Days Until Christmas!

The Christmas lights are on in town!
I hope I'm not the only one who is super excited to start whipping out their Christmas decorations.

I think everyone started to realise it was Christmas when the coke advert came on (or was that just me). I love the fact that shops are starting to put the trees up in their displays and how people are going out and buying Christmas jumpers.
Actually i should buy myself a new one soon there are so many new, nice ones: in Topshop, Newlook, Primark... literally everywhere.
Apart from the decorations another thing i cannot wait for this Christmas is to see the whole family together up at my Grandma's enjoying each others presents and company because in the end that's what Christmas is all about... family.
This year i'm not going to ask for much because recently I've got a job which pays quite good so i have been shopping for myself a lot in Brighton, which means i have everything I want. I might ask for a new tangle teaser or something but nothing to pricey.
I will let you know what I buy my friends and family members though.
I was thinking of buying my cats Christmas jumpers but I'm not sure, let me know what you think, Would it be cute? Or should I not bother?
